Hi All
Would really appreciate some advise, Looking at these 2 Bikes as my first Road Bike through my Employers Cycle to Work Scheme, We are Limited to Using Cycle Solutions hence the limited choice.
Cant Really find any reviews and i dont want to be bothering my local Bike shops going in for test rides etc with no intention of making a purchase, as i use them for work on my MTB. I know its not the best idea, but i already know my size.
the Two i am looking at are the.
Merida Ride Alloy 94 Team

Giant Defy Composite 3

So would really appreciate any opinions and even better if anyboby as any personal experience
Thanks

I can't speak for either bike, but I ride a Giant Defy 1, which is excellent.
Giant are the biggest manufacturer of bikes in the world, which means that they do build superb bikes for the money. They also have the buying power to buy top spec kit (shimano 105 for example) at reduced rates.
If possible you should try testing both, but if my experience is anything to go by you won't go wrong with the Giant, excellent views all around.

Your links are not working? Least not for me
Anyway, I'd probably recommend the Defy, get's fantastic reviews everywhere. I haven't ridden either of those either, but as above ride a Defy 1 (2013) and it's good I can't speak for comfort, as I'm used to 150mm travel MTB's, so coming from that, a roadie is a roadie :P0 -
Cheers guys, appreciate it0
