Can anyone point me towards somewhere that sells the sram gear calbe kits with the 1.1mm inners? In black preferably.

Im really struggling to find any. And it seems the Gore Ride-On cables that were originally fitted are now discontinued.

Thanks.

Surely any standard 1.2mm gear cable should work?

Just ordered one myself. Don't be put off by the shop being in Germany. They are spot on!

A 1.2 cable will work but if you need to cut the cable threading is a nightmare. I'd avoid jagwire at all costs!

I've never bothered with a kit much cheaper and more versatile to just buy 1.1 inners and whatever outers I choose on eBay.

Hargroves are doing the 2200mm length inners (in stainless steel, not black) for only £3.80 with free postage. They are the proper 1.1mm dia and I fitted one (easily) this morning.

I stopped using the Teflon coated wires, was finding the Teflon comes off through time and clogs up the cable outers. I've just fitted some Flying Snake Kevlar cables to my bike and they make a massive difference to the gear changes

Transfil cables are good but the standard transfil cables do work well too and are alot cheaper they do 1.1mm inner too. Of course the best cables set are made by campagnolo but they do not work with SRAM.
