I usually take a M or L in Bibshorts but looking at the Sportful Bodyfit guide they say XL for my height

I'm 183cm
72kgs
32 waist

XL? this seems a little large. But the chart says XL for 181cm tall. Could I fit in a L ok anyone? Or is the height maybe the wrong guide. Want to buy over internet.

Size (cm) XS S M L XL XXL XXXL
Height 168 171 174 177 181 183 185
Chest 88 92 96 100 105 110 115
Waist 72 76 80 88 94 99 104
Hip 92 96 100 104 109 114 119

I am pretty much the same height & waist (though 4 kg heavier). Haven't tried the Bodyfit Pro yet (on my list to buy) - but do have two of their other shorts (Flandrian No Rain & Thermo). The No Rain are XL and are ok, but verging on too large and will probably have to go if I loose a few more Kg.

The others are L and fit perfectly, so I would go with L if I was you.

I find bib shorts/tights sizing charts a pain - I am xl+ in most according to height - but small - medium in most according to waist, so L is usually a good compromise for me.

Similar to the previous poster I am 1.83m, 78 kg and have their Bodyfit Grupetto in XL, legs are snug but ok round the mid thigh as are the braces when sitting but I think they're a little looser than they could be around the tops of my thigh and my a*ss. I could have probably got away with a L which is what I take in Assos and they are the most perfect fit. A few suppliers seems to have changed to sizing bib based on a combination of height and weight which seems pretty logical.

I'm 193cm and I've got the XXL and they fit great, but in everything else I'm an XL so don't be surprised if you have to go up a size with them.

I'll probably be of no help but I'm 178cm, 36" waist, 39.5" hips & 90kg, but have short legs\long torso.

have both XL and L in the thermal bodyfit pro and the L fit best, XL are similar to L in Assos millie. Summer bibs I have Bodyfit, guppetto and Bodyfit Ltd all in large and would say the LTD version are a bit more forgiving on the straps. For me height\hip chart measurement for bibs, chest\waist for jerseys\jackets works well with Sportful gear.

I'd go Large given your dimensions - there's plenty of stretch in the BodyFit bibs, the problem with size charts is getting everyone's 'fit preference' accounted for...

Sorry for late replies........brought Large, great fit. XL would've been too big.

    fyi - I'm a M in Assos

    Thanks all.
