9spd front ring on a 10spd chain

Got a new big ring as the existing one looks like a dinner plate however the existing is a 10 speed set up with a compact double up front.

New ring arrived from wiggle and is marked as 9spd.

Is the world going to end if I put it on?
Advocate of disc brakes.
