If it's 'done properly' should it not have a black/white or white/black aliante, a seatpin to match bars/stem, the comedy headset cover removed and black or white bar tape (fizik logo to match saddle)?

Oh, and no Spesh tyres as it's a 'dale ...

No; matching multi color saddles are classless. White bar tape is sooooo last year... This is the real deal

I'm with you here, especially the saddle, would of looked really nice with black/white.
Don't get me wrong OP it's a stunning bike, DA fits it perfectly.

Iv got to agree, although it's a lovely looking bike and I love the wheels, the bar tape lets it down

This thread has more gags than a Frank Carson stand-up routine. Great looking bike though...

Needs an Arione (or similar thin saddle) and black bar tape. Otherwise spot on. How light is feathery?
  • Awful bar tape

To be fair I'd be doing the walls and carpets before I got round to the curtains. Or the bar tape. Priorities

No piz stains on the carpet (well, as far as we can see that is), so that'll be a no. But I accept your point wholeheartedly.

Anyway, looks like the latest in Alsager interior home design there.

  • Looks lovely except the Saddle and bar tape, it deserves some new black bar tape and a nice saddle.

I like CAAD 10s and still fancy a one as a change to my road bikes, not road ally for a while.

Actually I can see where you went regarding the bar tape - picks out DA's silver highlights. Would look better in real life.

But yeah I agree with the above post, nice saddle and perhaps black bartape and it would be perfect.

The frame, wheels and groupset are all 100% heavyweight.

The seatpost, saddle, stem and bar tape all need changing. Nothing expensive, the 3T components with the white lettering would look a million times better. Black bar tape also.

so Ive looked at the bar tape in light of the comments here and i think it may be a light thing. In the flesh out doors it looks pretty cool and certainly the overly critical club mates were impressed. It stays :)

The saddle is really comfortable, i have another in white and i might swap them over.

More importantly it feels great to ride :)

True, true - I have found that in Alsager they generally use blankets or towels as curtains (and not necessarily clean or matching ones).

I have gold tape on my matt black Dolan track bike. It looks ace in the flesh, it looks like hearing aid beige on photos.

You need to take some better photos.
