Hmm I'm not too sure, my instinct is saying no, keep it away.0

WD40 is a degreaser and it will damage the seals0

Just no - it's a water dispersant, not a lubricant. And as above, I wouldn't like it on my seals.I don't do smileys.

Keep WD40 away from your bike. It's not a lubricant.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

And it dissolves the grease inside the fork needed for lubrication0

The only way to use it early is to spay it on to a cloth and then use that cloth to wipe the forks down. Taking care not to scratch anything with any picked up dirt."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Ok thanks guys, the bike is away now anyway but I'll invest in some of that stuff forl juice that was mentioned.
I used that wax chain lube on my chain & cogs ect all clean and shiny but not for long!DVN0 -
I use fork juice on mine, brilliant stuff, but remember to cover your rotors/discs with a carrier bag when you clewn and spray your forks as you don't want to get any of it on their.'I'll trek two please....!
