Rapha – a repairs story.

Managed to put a couple of holes in my Pro Team bibs at the end of March (queue tears). Out of all my Rapha stuff this was the one thing that was bought from a retailer so I wasn’t too sure if the repair service would cover me. I emailed the department and they said send them over and we’ll see what we can do (they paid the postage). They emailed back to confirm receipt and said they would get them fixed up for me as quickly as possible. The bibs turned up last week via DHL 24 (again paid for by Rapha) with a brand new front panel expertly fitted and a hand written note on the back of a sheet of cool Pantani stickers from the repair guy thanking me for using the service.

Sorry bashers but this is the kind of service you don’t get with other brands (apart from Assos ;-))

The end.

Bought a pair of Gore tights which failed at one of the seams near the pad area, sent back to Wiggle on Weds last week, who paid for the postage and now received my new pair, free of charge. And without paying silly prices ;)

That's called a returns policy for failed goods. Would they have done that if you'd ripped them?

    Yep, can't fault that.

    Vulpine do free repairs too.

Had similar FOC repairs from Lusso and Endura - you don't have to spend the earth to get good customer service.

To be fair, I pulled a tab from my Gore mitts a couple of years ago and I sent it to them and they repaired it for free. I am still winning, sorry

I have a seam coming loose on my Rapha Softshell Jacket. I'll be putting their repair service to the test soon. Pleased to hear it's so good.

Hmm, I sent my pro team bibs back on the 18th April. Was told it would take no more than 3 weeks. Emailed today to be told they "should" be back to me by the end of next week.

So, sorry, not quite as good.
