Hi Guys,

Before I undergo respraying my frame I had a particular question. I was going for possibly a light blue finish, but If I want to stencil out a small part of my frame for say a white stripe, can I apply the white primer, mask in a stripe and then spray my final colour over it? i.e have the primer showing as the topcoat for those stripes.

Is that ok to do , or is it a big no no ?

thanks

    I would not bother.

But paint the frame white, then mask up what you want white then paint blue.

Or paint blue then add white graphics.

But I would send it to some powder coaters and get them to do a base colour you them play with stuff ontop.
