Prescription sunglasses North East

I want to get some direct glazed (not inserts) cycling sunglasses but don't fancy ordering them online. Does anyone know of a good optician or lbs in the North East where I could try some on and then get them made up? I live just outside Darlo and work in Boro and am in Newcastle for work once a month. The opticians I use is in Darlo but they, and all the others I've checked so far only have the insert type of sunglasses and I really want direct glazed ones.
