tried it, miserable failure, imho it's too thin to plug all but the smallest punctures

this on the other hand is pretty good, but only useful if you have removable valve cores...

only ever used either with tubs (veloflex) but i'm sure the relative performance would be much the same with clinchers, but for clinchers i'd just patch the tube

I've just ordered a couple of the Vittoria foam sealant cans for my EVO CX II tubulars. Will let you know whether it works or not once I am forced to use it!

Logic tells me it should work on small holes, but not on larger ones. Unlike Stans no-tubes which is pre-applied, its thicker and has "crystal" like lumps in it so should work better on larger holes.

Used it, it worked, nothing much more to say (other than the tyre is still going strong - 6 weeks on).

I tried it once with no luck (hole too big).

As said Stans and other tyre goo's are almost all thicker so should work better but none of them work as an emergency fix at the side of the road.

    used once worked.
Planet x sell some cheap copies that inflate and plug better than pitstop but cant remember the names. They come in two sizes, one that is a little bigger than pitstop would do two tyres at the side of the road if you were that unlucky!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'll try it and see if it works for me, I'm using latex clincher tubes that don't have removable valve cores, so can't use some of the sealants suggested. Just wanted another option to add to the usual 2 spare tubes, self-adhesive patches and traditional repair kit I carry on rides.

I used it in flanders it worked well but after a few weeks the leak came back so that tub is useless now. Still it kept me going. It did not seal the pinch flats I got in a race though. Did not realise how big the hole in tube was until I wasted the can in a desperate attempt to stay in the race, until I got the tyre of and found a shreaded inner tube (clincher).
