I've been mulling over a purchase of either a set of Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLS or Planet X CT45's for a while now, with the Cosmic's my preferred choice. Yesterday I came across these on ebay "see URL below", a set of Pro-Lite Gavia Carbon Clinchers.

There are very few current reviews of these wheels that I can see, has anyone ridden the Pro-Lite Gavia Or know of anyone that has?
Thanks in advance.

They have never been popular... essentially they are named after a legendary Giro climb, but they are too heavy to be the weapon of choice to tackle a 2 hours climb, so they would probably suit more someone who is into triathlon and time trials instead.
PRO Lite used to build user friendly wheels, made with standard components, but this seems to be no longer the case, although the hubs are made by Novatec, so at least spares for those can be sourced.
The price is attractive and if what you want is a set of deep section wheels with big logos then they are an option.left the forum March 20230
