Hi Guys ‘n’ Gals,
My name is Nick. I used to live in Saddleworth but we moved to France in December.
The short version is I sold my motorbike to move here. The lack of two wheeled action has been harder to bear that I initially thought. My French brother in law invited me out on a mountain bike ride. I managed to borrow a Rockrider. I was a little dubious at first having not thrown my leg over a push bike for over 20 years……I absolutely loved it. It’s rather surprising how much pedal power has in common with horse power. Surprisingly my bike control was rather impressive. Even if I do say so myself. Not to mention the countryside here and the trails are awesome! So basically I now have the MTB bug.

Welcome.
We go to the Vendee for the best part of a month every year and there's always loads of mountain biking races organised at a local level nearby, it seems incredibly popular.0 -
