Presumably one is older and one newer.

Maybe you could be a bit clearer about what you want to know.

Could you at least post links to the two bikes? Most people won't remember all the component or geometry differences.

To be fair there are some very helpful and not so helpful on here.

I cant see how we could really debate which is best to buy as the old Pro will only be available as a used bike now and that opens an all new board game up for possibilities.

Used will depend on specific bikes conditions and upgrades. Very difficult for people to compare new to used.
Why not just upgrade your XTC instead? It's an excellent frame.

    Mate, post the specs.

Is one 26" the other 27.5?

What years are you talking about?

Very often the older model can be a higher spec and better bet, but need to see specific links to be sure you get the right advice. Is that fair enough?

The old could be 7 years old and beaten to crap, 2 years old and done 6 miles or new/old stock, how the f*** are we meant to guess which, I guess you didn't read your own post to check it conveyed sufficient information to enable a meaningful answer?

Your latest answer suggests it's new old stock, but not what year which is key to specs.
