A near miss with an Audi is a standard ride experience, but yesterday I almost got totalled by a guy in an Audi estate with a Merckx and a child's road bike on his roof as he tried to squeeze between me and a traffic island. In retrospect he might have taken the huff at my Rapha gear, quality guns and better bike ;-)

As cycling is mega trendy, the Audi driver probably doesn't ride a bike at all.

At least most Audis are quite good looking cars, Cervelo S5s on the other hand are gopping (it could be worse though you could get one to look even uglier if you put Ultegra on it, but no one would be that oblivious to style to do that).0
