Has anyone had a bike fit at Sigma Sports? If so, was it good and, if known, how does it compare with companies such as Cyclefit and The Bike Whisperer? Many thanks, R

They use the Specialized BG Fit system, the same as the Specialized Concept Stores. I've had 2 in the past from Concept Stores, but not from Sigma Sport. You could also try Retul as well. I think the prices are about the same though...2010 Lynskey R230

Are concept store fits likely to be better?Canyon Roadlite AL-Shamal Wheels-Centaur/Veloce Group

If your talking about Sigma Sport in Kingston / Hampton Wick (which I and my partner affectionately call 'Siggy Sport'), they also have a Spesh Concept Store on Richmond Road.
I had a basic fit in there when buying my Madone, there are one or two rooms on the second floor. All the tools and jigs and stuff. Although I expect a good bit fit is more dependant of the fitter than whether it's BG Fit or Retul, or Joe Bloggs.
I had a more comprehensive fit from former Vacansoleil rider Matteo Carrera (who rode all three grand tours) at Cadence Performance in Crystal Palace, just because he was a pro it doesn't mean I've got a better fit than anyone else. A good bike fitter will ask you what you want to gain from your riding, and make sure your in a comfortable position that doesn't cause or worsen any injuries or niggles.
You'll definitely benefit from a well done bike fit though if you want to ride faster and longer and Siggy would be a good place to start if it's your local bike shop.Trek 1.1c (2012) - For commuting
