Hi guys,
I've finally bought my proper MTB.
For those interested it's Kona Explsif 2014:

I have several questions:
1. What would be the proper SAG to start playing with the fork? Should I go for 20 - 25%?
2. Obviously I need to buy a shock pump. Recently I popped up on a device combining tyre/ shock pump in one. In my opinion it's a great idea. What do you think?
Example is below:

3. Do I need to lube the fork legs in between the rides or do I need to do anything else?
Thanks in advance,
Andrey

1 - yes - whatever works for you.
2 - rubbish idea. Buy a shock pump, a mini pump and a track pump. http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/ ... -11-45346/
3 - wipe the stanchions - I apply a tiny dab of float fluid and give them a pump, then wipe off any tide marks.I don't do smileys.

Thanks a lot Cooldad!
I should have found the review by myself 1st. But really thanks for the link and for the advice as well.
I'll search for a proper shock pump and a separate mini pump.0 -
this Beto one (shock pump) comes with various different manufacturers names on but they're all basically the same pump, do a good job and are pretty cheap. i.e I wouldn't spend to much more that £15-20 max on a shock pump
