NoTubes Sealant - Does it make a mess of rims?

As you may have seen in my other thread, I'd just ordered some Hope Hoops which should arrive next week.

I've been looking online for information about going tubeless, and with the NoTubes kit it seems pretty straightforward to do. The only thing that concerns me, is whether the sealant would make a mess of the inside of the rims? Is the reside that's left able to be washed off?

You can get some dried latex in there, which you can pick off. That's about it.

Bucket of warm soapy water and a nail brush. It will shift all the snot balls in seconds.

Doesn't have to and if it does just ride it off

Thanks guys - I had the impression if you took the tyre off, there'd be a really sticky mess of leftover sealant stuck to the inside of the rim.

Will consider going tubeless next time I buy some tyres then! Current ones are compatible, but I'll be replacing the rear one soon, so no point in wasting sealant.
