Identifying Sapim spokes
I've ordered some Sapim Race spokes from Spa to rectify a dodgy rear wheel from PX, but the two sets of spokes they've sent me don't have the same markings. Do Sapim put any identifying marks on their spokes?
ETA: One set is Sapim and the other looks like Alpina. Don't think I can be bothered to complain. Wheel's gonna look like a patchwork job to anyone with a keen enough eye though!

Sapim have SAPIM or SAP (older ones) written on the spoke, Alpina have an A written on the head, some older ones have an S. DT Swiss have a D and a T superimposed... other spokes have different markings... those with no markings at all are generally crap cheap stuffleft the forum March 20230

I have found KDV on spokes in a sapim Box from Chickens cycles before. Sapim have Sapim stamped above the elblow. No idea what KDV is.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0
