National cycle network GPX on Garmin 800?

Hello all,

I'm looking to buy a Garmin 800 today and was hoping to get the complete National Cycle Routes on it. Does anyone have any experience on this?

There's little on the web about it. I love day trips and am tired of maps and getting lost! If such a gpx exists is it good? And is the Garmin 800 easy to follow?

Any feedback or advice is very welcome

Thank you

Don't know if its complete but I downloaded the openstreetmap uk maps onto my 810 and its certainly included every bit of the national cycle network I've ridden on since I got it. I've not tried navigation yet as I tend to subscribe to the pick a destination.

OSM should have most or all of it, but it won't be marked out as being specifically NCR.

Have a look at http://www.velomap.org/ It uses the same Openstreet data as Talkytoaster (which are great for general use!), but presents it in a different way to the GPS, so routing is more appropriate for cycling. Allegedly. ;-)
