cycling in Switzerland

I'm heading to the Diepoldsau area of Switzerland for a couple of weeks soon and wondered did anyone know the region and the posibility of hiring a bike while i'm there ? not having much joy with google.

    If you haven't already found it, take a look at http://www.veloland.ch/en/veloland.html

    It gives details of all the cycle routes in Switzerland and lots more useful info.

    It does give details of bike rental, but these bikes won't be anything special. A lot of bike shops will hire bikes though. It's just a case of giving them a call and asking.

    Enjoy yourself, Switzerland is very bike friendly and a great place to ride.

    Here's a link with a few bike shops from which you can rent bikes. Send me a PM and I can translate what you need. (Key words are "mieten" (hire) and "rennrad" or "velo" (bikes).

    excellent, René's Velo Hangar in Diepoldsau could be the spot for me. might have to make do with a 29'er mtb though from looking at the website. Appreiciate the help guys, need to keep the mileage up !
