The free hub/cassette body has failed on my Kona and i can't get a replacement it's an Easton wheel set 2011. Seems they are not made anymore. Can't replace the whole hub as they are 24 spoke wheels, been looking at a new set of wheels on superstar but funds are seriously limited. Easton being the super customer serviced focused company they are decided not to bother even replying to my email about the situation. Will i buy Easton products again? would rather stick pins in my eyeballs. Any other budget wheel suppliers out there other than superstar? Thanks.

You need to talk to a dealer, not Easton directly.I don't do smileys.

It looks like these guys are the main Easton dealer for the UK according to the Easton website - as Cooldad suggested above, you might have more luck contacting them.

As for a cheap wheelset, you might be able to buy something along the lines of Mavic CrossOne's or Shimano MT55's. Only problem with buying factory built wheels is the availability of proprietary spares.Whyte 29-CS • Canyon Ultimate • #CCWMTB • Strava Profile0 -
