Here is my KTM Strada 3500.
Original spec included 105 groupset & RS10 wheelset which I have replaced with Ultegra 6800 & Mavic Ksyrium Elite S wheels.

    .

You don't really know a lot about their motorbikes do you!

At least this one can't go bang! (And won't hop around like a rabbit on acid when it is working)

I've had two Supermotos and a Crosser made by KTM, and say the same about their motorbikes. No problems with mine when I had them.

Proper SMs and crosser? So with hours between rebuilds then!

Welcome to the world of high performance vehicles. Suzukis and Yamaha's require rebuilds after a few hours if ragged hard enough, so KTM is definitely not alone.

Exactly, specialist vehicles, not like the road bike in the picture above. Their roadgoing motorbikes are fabled for awful FI problems (visit any owners forum and find the myriad of "solutions" that add several hundreds of pounds on top of an already significant purchase price), reliability issues and general poor quality. The same can't be said for most other manufacturers.

Thank God we set the story straight on that.

http://road.cc/content/review/110668-kt ... -road-bike I think the Revelator bears an uncanny resemblance to the Canyon SLX.

How did you take such nice pix of that bike? What camera did you use?

Thanks for all the kind comments about the bike.

    And the camera was a Canon 5Dii with a 35mm lens (f1.4).

You don't see many KTM road bikes around, actually I don't think I've seen any!
