Best Wheels for less than £200

I've trashed the rear hub on my stock specialized wheels (Specialized Allez) and wrecked the cups - its usable though after a bit of TLC so I'll be sticking it on the turbo.
I'm after a new set of wheels for training - I race on the mtb but enjoy training and getting out on the road bike for long miles. I can get a set of Mavic Askiums + Tyres for £170 which I know are bombproof, but weigh around 1750g. Is there anything better for the money? I've been looking at Fulcrum 5's and Superstars offerings, although I'm not impressed with the latters customer service (I have already bought other wheels from them). Basically I want to know that the Mavics are a decent wheel for long rides and light'ish' and I'm not missing any other options! I weigh 70 kilos so I'm not too hard on wheels - current set has done 4000 miles and still run true (bar the annoying play in the bearings!).
Cheers!

The Aksium are very decent wheels, but...
I rode the Flemmish cobbles on a set of Aksium years ago and had to stop in the middle of Mariaborre Straat to breathe and put my eye bulbs back in the orbits... they can be teeth shattering over bumpy roads, especially when paired with their best friends, the deadly Continental Gatorskin.
The second problem is how to source a spare spoke... while the higher range seem to have some kind of availability of spares, Aksium spokes are quite rare...left the forum March 20230 -

I saw a stonking trade deal on Scirroco's today (I don't stock them) but any shop that from mdi regualy would be able to sell you a set for less than £200 if they act quickly.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0

Taking on board what ugo has said about the spokes I've had another look.
Fulcrum racing 5's at 1645g http://www.wiggle.co.uk/fulcrum-racing- ... lset-2014/
Fulcrum Racing Quattros at 1750g but heard they're usually heavier than that http://www.wiggle.co.uk/fulcrum-racing- ... -wheelset/
I do really like the look of the 35mm deep rims, but I'm not sure which is the 'better' wheel for all round use? Any cons/pros for either?0 -
Have you had a look at Ribble they have had quite a few wheel offers recently0

Like the look of those Swiss side, never even heard of them, anyone here got any. Would they be an upgrade from my Aksiums or just about the same level?0
