That's going to be.. Colourful0
-
Colourful indeed
I think you can be confident it'll be unique0 -
You'd think that... I saw another in a similar colour scheme and went with it haha.0
-
nice, mine is very subtle so good to see someone going the oposeite way0
-
Should deffinatly be a loud build haha, look forward to seeing it ...0
-
Awesome!0

Gold chainring bolts turned up today, got them cheap from eBay but they look suspiciously crap. Will give em a go though lol!
Just hope Works Components pull their fingers out and get my chainring on the way!0 -
It begins...
Frame - hardly a mark on it.
Chainguide and seatpost trial fit.
Upping the travel on my Reba to 120mm
Rolling chassis
Few teething issues... one of the chain guide bolts is too long and fouls on the chainstay so I'll either cut the bolt or get a shorter one (may have a short one in the shed).
Welshkev has my headset remover so I can't get the headset out of the Spesh just yet.
But, I'm liking this already0 -
Great frames , will will and ride great0
-
Doesnt look to bad to be honest mate. Looking forward to seeing the finished product... :-)0
-
Looks pretty awesome! You need to chop the steerer a lot though0
-
Ha yeah... shows how long the head tube was on the spesh!!
Will get the saw out once I've got the headset in.0 -

Done and ridden...
Rides lovely, much better than I expected!
Slight issue as my wheel tension seems to have gone, pulls to the left under braking, so theyre off to the shop tomorrow!0 -
Got out on the bikes with WelshKev yesterday, really nice to ride... time to get my leg power up to keep the single ring spinning though (especially when Kev chooses a route that pretty much just goes up!).

Mmmm garlick.
I like the effort with the colour scheme. It will certainly stand out in a crowd. Is it good both going up and down?0 -
Its surprisingly good tbh.. the seat angle is perfect for climbing, the slack head angle is perfect for descending!
Its much lighter than I thought it would be too!
Long term plans I wants a set of dual air blackbox revelations (circa. 2011-12)..0 -
Still riding and loving this thing!
Buzzes along trails, gets a bit jittery over really rocky stuff, but a longer fork should make it a bit nicer when I get round to it!
Got some 180mm disks on it now which have really livened it up as I can actually stop!
Wheels off to be retensioned tomorrow though as I noticed a bit of lateral flex on the front wheel.
Oh, and its time to get these tubeless rims and tyres set up without tubes!

Changes - clutch mech, no chainguide, Revelation forks, 203mm dinner plate up front and my old DH wheels so I can give it a good battering!

Apparently it happens a lot to the protection version, my mate pm'd me a picture of his which had done exactly the same thing!0 -
Awesome ride round the Twrch today, haven't been out for a while due to one thing or another but the bike impressed... glad I didn't get rid!
May need to change the BB spacers to get a better chainline for the T-Rex though.0 -
Looks good. I moved a spacer from the drive to non drive side when I went 1x10 with retainer and T-Rex, and it seemed to make a slight difference.
Yesterday fitted a One up components RAD cage to the XT rear mech and dropped the B tension screw back down a fair bit.
Changes are a lot snappier now but not yet ridden it in anger with the new cage.0 -

Looking very nice with those forks! I wouldn't mind another hardtail...0
