Hi i don't know whether I'm in the correct section but ill ask anyway. i have a specialised rockhopper comp 2013 and i noticed the other day that when i used the lockout or shall i say tried using it the suspension was still spongy, as I'm aware it should go stiff. if this is broke and the bike is still under warranty will this be covered or will i have to be buying more.

It should be stiffer, not locked.

You may not have enough tension on the lockout cable. Before you tighten the grub screw put the cable in place and then twist the blue alloy lockout cover by hand clockwise a bit then tighten the grub down so even in the suspension mode there is a slight bit of tension in the cable. When you put lockout on you should hear a click as it engages. My XC 30 and 32 both need this tension or the lock out doesn't work.
