Some minor crash damage to the Helmet, just a scrape, nobody hurt but I think I'd better replace it.
...funds are quite tight, has anybody spotted any decent deals or recommendations on mid priced Helmets - say £50 all in, tops!
Cheers

not specifically. But most large manufacturers offer a helmet replacement/crash damage policy where you can get money off your replacement lid so that could be worth investigatingFCN = 40

I really like my Giro Savant, comfortable and a good fit. My head is right on the outer cusp of the Medium size, and its great.

Can't vouch for them, but Planet X seem to have branched out into helmets of late:

The Boardman helmets are nice and just on about £50, replacement pads are cheap as well.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
