Why do you want a shorter stem?0

Just feeling a little streched chunkers i get bit of a sore back but didnt have this problem on previous bikes and they had shorter stems on0

do you have riser bars? If you do tilt them back and measure by how much and see what happens to your back.0

Yes but if your ETT is shorter you may need a longer stem to simulate the riding position of the others, is the bar height the same?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Have you compared the top tube + stem length of your old bike and new bike?
It may be worth rolling your bars back, mine are only 10mm rise and it still makes quite a difference rolling them back 5 degrees.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
