Yep I'm in for the full route. Going by my club mates it was pretty epic (weather wise) last year.

I was out Strines way yesterday and it's closed from just before Broomheadhall(turn off to Bolsterstone) to Midhopestones for resurfacing for the Tour.
I've just phoned the council and it will be closed for at least another week!
Diversion goes Via Bolsterstone/Deepcar/Stocksbridge.0 -
Pity if we don't climb strines, although I'm cycling to the start so one less climb won't be too bad0

I've emailed the organiser who has driven and spoken to the contractors and the road is closed except for access.The only section totally closed is from Gill Royd Lane to Midhopestones.The route goes down Gill Royd Lane so we should be ok on the day 8)0
