Hi all

An
Tone got any experience of Sun Ringle wheels, the charger pro or black flag pro in particular? I'm looking to get some new wheels and CRC have both these on a good deal.

Charger pros are pretty good IMHO. Been running a test set for a while no problems. Might strong rims and not a bad weight. Ive read a few complaints on the hubs having issues but these have been trouble free so far.

Yeah, I read about the bearings in the free hub going really quickly. Good to hear you're not having problems.

I had black flags. Very heavy and a dented too easily, I wouldn't recommend them.
My old Nukeproof rims were rebadged Sun Ringle rims as well, didn't think much of them either.

Heavy? The Black Flag Pros quoted weight is 1550g if I remember right. Not too bad is it? Anyway, if the rims dent easy that's not so good.

I can't comment on durability as I have not tried a set. But they licence Stan's bead hook design so they should work well in a tubeless setup.

I was very happy with the tubeless setup side of things when I used to have Stans Crest rims.
