Bike box for a 29er?

Me & my 29er are flying to the Pyrenees in a few weeks. Any suggestions for tried & tested bike boxes for a 29er?

Ideally I'd hire if I can. And preference would not to have to remove forks to get the bike box in...

    I use old cardboard boxes, But I tape in struts to stop them in collapsing in the middle.
