It looks like they operate out of a shed? Albeit a very nice shed.
It's a nice shed with some very nice bikes in it :D

They replied with a link to the website. In German. No further forward!

Seems unusual, they've always been really helpful via email.

Both times I've used them they've been happy to send a list of which models are available in my size.

I'm back there at the beginning of June, cant wait.

To the guy asking about the direct route from Pollensa to Sa colabra, I did it last month. It worked out at 60 miles, 6500 ft of climbing so at 13mph it will take about 5 hours yeah. Tough route!

Is the route manageable for a solo ride for a reasonably fit rider?

Should be, you'll need to refill your bidons though.

I'll have access to a neutral service cafe. :-)

  • Stop at the viaduct for cake, or the cafe at the top of Sa Colobra. The cafes at the bottom are quite expensive.

I plan to attack the ascent on Monday starting from alcudia. Anyone want to join me or can anyone provide transport closer to the start of the climb so I'm not out for 130km on my own?

Yes. I did it solo & im not strong or fit. It wasn't easy mind

Also went from Puerto Pollenca all the way past Sa Colabra to Soller...then back (up Puig Major)
So Colabra is stunning but Major is pretty.. well... major! At 10 miles long :|

I've managed to ge ta couple of Canondale via the company that partner with the hotel and took them for two seperate days (I'm not spending the whole 10 days cycling, it's a bit of a sporting holiday but to get some chill-out also). I had a choice of Synapse Ultegra or Supersix 105.

I wish I had a cannondale when I was out there in April. I rented a Kuota

Have a look at strava routes, but from Alcudia you could go to Campanet and Selva and do the climb from there, its an easier climb than from Pollenca.

I was in Campanet yesterday on an easier ride and was easy enough to get to also from Alcudia so might take that advice.

Going to rey another bike hire shop for Monday's ride and have found a place with Di2 in a large size available for Monday.
