    I will say one thing, skinny people and arm tattoos don't mix as well as they do for big bogans. Looks a bit like the NZ hockey team's haka.

    A friend of mine used to lead the haka for the NZ hockey team. He was certainly skinny, but no tattoos.

    They seem to have gone over to California awfully early considering the race doesn't start until the 11th.

    Keeping sponsors happy as well as giving themselves to acclimatise / fully overcome jet lag. Makes perfect sense, it's not like they can't train over there.

    Isn't the rule of thumb for acclimatization a day per hour so that would mean at least 8 days
