Cannondale Frame Warranty - CAAD 9 Crack!

Has anyone on here had any experience using the Cannondale Frame warrenty? I have a CAAD 9 which I have discovered this evening has a crack under the rear brake bridge at the weld. I have owned the frame from new (bought in May 2010 from Chelmer cycles), so I understand that the frame and forks should have a 'lifetime' warrenty. The shop I bought it from won't be open until Monday (poss. Tuesday) so can anyone let me know how good Cannondale were at honouring their warranty? Did the process of getting a replacement frame take a long time and a lot of headaches or was it relatively straightforward (as I understand it is for Specialized)?

Any stories (good or bad) from people who've been through this process will be much appreciated.
