New bike and saddle query

Hi everyone.
New to the road bike scene so still getting used to the basics of riding but had a question about riding.

Bought a Specialized Allez C2 Sport and find the saddle, compared to my Sirrus commuter bike, very grippy! When I'm out of the saddle and try to remount, I like to slide back onto the saddle but my Riva saddle on the Allez won't let me do this very easily!

Will the saddle smooth out with more and more use? And are there any suggestions for bib short material I should be looking at for this to be made easier?

Got Altura airstream bib at the moment and whilst being comfy for a low price, not sure they will last against the saddle I have!?

Just don't want to have to start changing saddles this early on. I actually like the saddle a lot, just the grippiness I'm not sure about!?

Appreciate any advice to a proper newbie to the road....... :?

Try your sirrus saddle on your road bike, but make a note of its position first so you can put it back in the same place. Saddles are very personal things and best to use what works. The problem most people have with saddles is they are poorly sized / fitting and painful.

You could tray some baby powder on the saddle to see it that makes it less grippy - but it will discolor your shorts.
Probably shorts that have a very smooth fabric would slip easier on the saddle.

I accidentally cleaned a saddle with polish wipes instead of cleaner wipes.

This approach will definitely solve your problem and if you don't like the result use a cleaner wipe to put it back the way if was.

10 seconds work, no harm done, no saddle change. Might work for you.

The polish thing sounds good, will give that a go. Went out this morning and did 23 miles and my bib shorts are starting to bobble and fray at the front where its been rubbing. Hope the polish works...... Only used the bib shorts twice!!!
