Spotted this on ebay. What sort of goon puts a 6" fork and 3" riser bars on an Anthem? It must ride like a chopper.

6" forks will make a 4" bike ride terrible if they don't cause the head tube to fail.

Easy to drop them to 100-120mm though. It does raise the question of what it's been used for though and whether frame has already cracked

That must feel really weird to ride. Why not just get a Trance if you want more travel?

    Road - Dolan Preffisio
    MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.

That isn't ruined, it's UPGRADED, it says so in the item title!

By that logic a Super Monster T is the ultimate upgrade.

I'm about to put a 140mm Pike 426 onto my Spesh camber is that classed as ruined? Granted I have a low rise set of bars but still not far off what matey has done.

No, Cambers aren't designed around 100mm forks, but 120, and some have had 140mm forks, so you're adding less than 20% to the stock travel, eBay man has added 50% to what the frame was designed around.

Oh god.....I want to put the bike down to save it from the misery being inflicted upon it.

To paraphrase from a great book and film (Dicky Attenborough at his very best) - the Bike that died of shame!
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
