London - Euston to Liverpool Stret

I am in London for two days next week and had planned to get the tube from Euston to Liverpool Street but due to the tube strike was considering biking it, I have never cycled in London before and dont really like the look of it.

Does anyone do a similar route, is it ok? or should i find another mode of transport?

I do it virtually everyday. Its absolutely fine.

although I ususally now go from St Pauls via bank as London wall is often headwind city, but its 6 of one and half a dozen.
