I have recently purchased a new bike fitted with Ultegra 6800 11 speed.I am not overly impressed with the groupset and wandered if I could convert it to 10 speed by changing the cassette. This would also solve the other problem I have of finding a freehub to fit a second hand pair of carbon clincher wheels I purchased off Ebay, the 11 speed freehub is rarer than hen's teeth, hop you can help

No. If you're having problems, it's a setup issue. 6800 is good, better than 6700 in every way.

Concur with the above. 6800 is beyond brilliant
2020 Reilly Spectre - raw titanium
2020 Merida Reacto Disc Ltd - black on black
    2015 CAAD8 105 - very green - stripped to turbo bike
    2018 Planet X Exocet 2 - grey

    The departed:

    2017 Cervelo R3 DI2 - sold
    Boardman CX Team - sold
    Cannondale Synapse - broken
    Cube Streamer - stolen
    Boardman Road Comp - stolen

Stick with it. Probably the best Shimano groupset since 7800, the only difference between 6800 and 9000 is the name and a few grams. Ditch the wheels.

Thanks guys good advice, looks like the wheels are history then.i have taken the bike back a couple of times but to me it is still not right, feels a bit "grindy", I think there's an issue with the BB
