Hello everybody,

My name is Renaud and I’m a french film director and also a cyclist !
I wanted to share with you my last project !
It’s about cycling, and don’t worry, it’s not a commercial. ;)

It’s a short documentary about Ultra Cycling.

I made the portrait of Jean-Marc Velez, one of the best french ultra cyclist. ( the first french RAAM finisher ! )

He exposes here his point of view about this crazy discipline.

I hope that you will like it !

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate !
And you can also share the movie !!

For more informations, there is a Facebook page of the production company : https://www.facebook.com/kilometre75

thanks everybody,

Renaud

I enjoyed that... thanks for posting. I know the area around Chartres pretty well (we drive through it regularly on our way down to the Lot (46) and I imagine it can get pretty windy across those flat agricultural plains.
“You may think that; I couldn’t possibly comment!”

It doesn't really mean a lot to me without any data. As it is it's just someone riding a bike in front of a support car for some long period of time.
    Red bikes are the fastest.

Great stuff, nicely filmed and some good insight into the mind of an ultra cyclist for sure.

Enjoyed the film ,very well made but just a little short ,but gives great insight into the sport!

This is the closest you get to a cycling "FOREST GUMP" :D

This movie is a short introduction for a longer one that will be shot next year...
I just wanted to make something with the footages I had from this winter training.
