Coxy17 - beware

Did a deal with him 4 weeks ago, nothing arrived after two weeks.

After a bit of nagging (and the eventual threat of this feedback thread) he promised me a refund, but that didn't materialise either.

After a couple more pms from me he eventually spun me a story about problems with paypal, and could he have my bank details to refund me. That was 5 days ago now.

Finally, I opened a paypal case against him, and gave him 24hrs to make amends, but that was now 48hrs ago, and I've received nothing - no message, no apology, no money.

There may be a perfectly good explanation for this, but I recommend no-one else do business with him until this is resolved.

If you need any help then please let me know, I've sent him a PM telling him to get it sorted.

Thanks! If paypal ask for evidence before processing my claim, is there any way to get a transcript of the PMs between us, or would I just have to work through them taking screngrabs?

We cannot see other people PM's, so you'd have to print them off yourself.

Send me a link for the advert via PM and your email address and I';ll create a .pdf of it for you.

The time limit given by paypal for the seller to respond has now elapsed, and paypal have just notified me that the money I paid has been "recovered" and will be credited to my account within 5 days. Still no explanation or apology from Coxy17 as to why he/she kept promising a refund but never followed through with it, so my advice remains that people should think twice before dealing with him/her (Bev Cox, paypal address bevcoxnof@yahoo.co.uk).
