Hi guys,
How often do people take the bottoms bracket out and re grease etc. running shimano hollow 2

Nope - you can remove the plastic top hat and grease the bearings, but it breaks easily - they are not meant to be serviceable.
I've tried a few times because I am cheap, but without much success.
XT and XTR have better sealing than Deore and last much longer - worth the extra.
I don't do smileys.

Cheers mate, just pricing things up and no wonder people shop online and the local bike shops struggle the price difference is stupid
