Just thought I'd bring the efforts of some people and supporters at Yeovil Town football club to the attention of the wider masses. Currently 64 cyclists are riding from Middlesborough back to Yeovil (334 miles), aiming to arrive shortly before the last match of the season against Middlesborough on Saturday.
Three charities are to benefit from the ride, these are the Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust (promotes local sport amongst schools and youth groups), St Margaret's Hospice (local end-of-life care hospice) and Prostate Cancer UK.
The details of the ride can be found at ytfccycle.com and they're posting route updates on twitter on @YTFCcycle.
Please look out for them, cheer them on, and if you've got any spare change to give, a number of them have justgiving pages detailed here - http://www.ciderspace.co.uk/asp/news/ne ... emId=21618
Hope the mods don't mind me posting this - please feel free to move this if it's not appropriate.
