if your steerer height is maxed out, and you cannot add any spacers, but would like to add an inch or so to the handle bar height, which solution would you recommend:
Stem Raiser
available in black:

or
30 degree angled stem

And for the angled stem...any downside in using one in relation to handling etc?
and which length? If it is replacing a 110mm straight stem.
Thanks

I would recommend losing weight and working on flexibility - which is what I did 6 years ago ( 6.5 stone following spinal surgery) or buying a frame that fits.
Both of the above solutions are ugly and unnecessary if your frame is carefully chosen in the first instance.
The very best bike in the world is the one that fits correctly!!0 -
an angled stem is better than adding an extra joint
length to use depends on length and angle of the current stem and where you're reaching from
for the same bar position, there's no difference in handling between angled stem and raisermy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
You might like to look at this stem which has adjustment between 20deg. and 28deg. using different sleeves.http://www.evanscycles.com/products/spe ... tAod-XcAnw0
