i'm shopping for a new bike for this summer, my budget is about 1000 USD .. thing is, i'm shoping from canada.
My first stop was my Local Store .. that has this offering
the bike will be for commuting to work ( 20km round trip )

for : 930$ USD (all included)
http://www.velomane.com/Velo2012/big2.php?c1=indurain

this is what i get
so here is the round up :
Home-Brand chinesse Frame ( 6061 Alluminium )
Home_Brand chinesse Fork ( 12k Carbon )

Groupset : 105 Shimano ( exept the Shifters are Shimano Sora )
Crankset : FSA Tempo
Alex Rim wheels

thing to note, is that the bike is custom fitted, i will get a 30-40min fitting session included + the part are ordered to fit the test result the frame is going to be generic, no real custom job here, only the parts ordered are specific (lenght wise )
( stem lenght + frame size + saddle height + other stuff )

any opinion would be greatly appreciated

Custom fitted in 30-40 minutes? I might be wrong but I think the will just measure you and order the appropriate size frame. I'd be very surprised (well effing amazed to be honest) if they were altering the geometry of the frame, I.e varying top tube length to seat post length etc. for that timescale and price. Every bike shop will measure you and make sure you get the right sized frame.

It's also relatively dull looking- fairly standard tubes, no oversized stuff etc. I assume the pricing is quite keen for your side of the pond.
