Road bikes
Hi I'm new to the forum and to say I am confused is an understatement
I am just getting back into cycling after a long break but due to a knee injury believe cycling is the way to strengthen it again whilst having fun instead of being stuck in a gym.
I have been looking for a while at what bike to get as I only need a mid range priced bike but I would like quality for the money.
The bikes I have looked at are the following, and any advice you guys have would be greatly appreciated
Scott speedster 60
Scott contessa speedster 45
Cannondale synapse Claris female
Giant Avail 5
Giant defy 3 compact
There are so many more that have caught my eye but I really need help in regards to quality for money and what are the main things I should be looking for and also what is best for a female rider as some reviews state great for "men road cycling" but no details for a girl.
Sorry for such a long post but I'm a vey confused keen beginner
Regards Sazza

You may be better off asking in the road bikes section.
Do you have an idea of what sort of distance(s) you will be covering?0
