Afternoon all,
Just received my m770 crankset. It's a used one. The right (driver side) crank arm has no dust cap. I know that the bb is going to be ok etc, but surely it will fill the axel with mud etc if left open? Should there be a dust cap for the driver side to save it from filling up with crud? Or is it standard practice to leave it open and clean it once full of crud?
I'd have thought a 20p plastic cover would do it, if such a thing exists.

Nothing exists as far as I know, certainly not standard fitment.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

It doesn't fill with mud. Just poke a cloth through every so often.
If you must you could fashion a cork, but not worth it really.0 -
^^^This, they don't fill with mud, so don't worry0
