Is it OK and go remove these pins sticking out the pedals?
I assume they are for some shoe grip thing, which I won't be using. See here:

The first true thing you've said - as everyone knows trolls don't wear shoes.
BTW - can I have the spare pins?0 -
What is the purpose in these pins? Since they actually have threads on them...0
-
No purpose at all. They are just little bolts screwed in to give the pedals an attractive look.
Take them all out and send them to BigAl.“Life has been unfaithful

Since you're actually this stupid. They have threads on so they can be screwed in, then unscrewed to replace once worn down, or to move into a better pattern to fit your soles, or if you're not happy with the tattooed pattern it is making on your shins. Still better than slipping off through not having them and getting hurt worse elsewhere.0 -
They are a variable ventilation system to stop you getting sweaty feet.I don't do smileys.

They are there to stop your flip flops slipping , I would keep them .0

You can get a consultant to put special inserts in your foot so you can screw yourself onto the pedal with them.
OK joking aside, flat smooth metal is very slippery, without the pins your feet will slip off the pedals, that hurts, or hurts a lot, or really really hurts depending on what happens, it is rarely painless!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
What he said ^
mount them onto your shoes, then screw your shoes onto the pedals.. It's like an ultimate SPD0 -
You are slipping Rubez. Your trolls have been brilliant and an fantastic read but this one is marginal. Sharpen up old boy, I need a good laugh...0
