Hideous and a complete miss as far as form vs function is concerned.
However I guess that may have been the reaction when someone decided to even out the wheels on a penny farthing!0 -

I really like the first blue bike...it's a concept design fantasy and doesn't look too practical, still looks good.
Not sure about the gearing though.
The last bike in the OP is a friggin' mess.0 -

Sorry NapD it's doesn't quite meet the OCP guidelines, but it does score some points.

Nice. Single speed or fixie with minimal breaking for safety?
Like the chromed forks and you must tell us where you sourced the pink rims from.0 -
Lovely looking bikes, lets keep this thread going;

I like that Moss bike above, I tried to get work to buy me one as our company is called Moss, they said no. Generally I prefer the look of old steel lugged frames. I was in Sigma Sport the other day and the Seven bikes look stunning, although out of my price range.
As a complete contrast I really liked the Bamboo MTB I saw. Bamboo tubes joined with hemp, the low tech look of it combined with fat tyres and bouncy forks just kind of worked.
Haha, as I was writing Jeff posts a bamboo bike and an old classic. I agree.0 -

When I was about 8 I so coveted a friend's Grifter. Once when he was out, his mother let me ride it around their garden. I spent what seemed like hours going in circles and ended up with terrible blisters on my thumbs from the handlebar grips. Happy days...0 -
They should replace Boris Bikes with an updated version of the Grifter I reckon.
Me, I had to deal with a Raleigh Striker for what seemed like aeons before I finally got my hands on a Grifter (second hand off a kid up the street). And yes, I remember the blisters from those grips and the twisty grip gearsCS7

My brother had the Striker. I would have much preferred it even if it was a bit small. I would have swapped my Grifter for your Striker any day.
Those people with an unrequited lover for the Grifter should, in my opinion, count themselves very lucky that they had a close escape.0
