mtb for my girlfriend

hi i want to surprise my girlfriend on a bike, we have discussed about it but we know nothing about what bike to get her.

she is 5 " 9 and she wants one that can go through forest like muddy grounds and all that nd occasionally roads, we have a budget around 350. if i have missed anything out please let me know.

Try the Specialized Myka, just bought one for my missus, she loves it although she won't go along the muddy trails yet, prefers riding round a field and along some well trodden, dry trails - no steep bits either, she gets off and walks! I have a lot of work to do!!

I absolutely love Scott bikes - from the (old) Ransom to my own Genius MC 10, I can definitely recommend them...

Apparently not! I suppose it's just that, if the question, and answer, will still be pertinent/relevant currently, I'm happy to add my tuppence-worth!
