Maybe there never has - surely a GB development squad should be doing these sort of races?

2 Czech teams , one Norwegian ...

The next race in the U23 Nations Cup is Panamerican Championships Road Race on 10 May in Guadelupe

Could be a timing issue - GB may want to get the squad out there a few days ahead of the 10th. A couple of the other national squads might be a bit more relaxed

Endura did ok there a couple of years back, although they had a large squad and strength in depth....capable of putting out 2 strong teams at the same time.

Given this race conflicts with the Cycle Classic, it may be an issue as the British Conti teams and the Academy are all present at Rutland..

Not strictly on topic but seeing the recent results at this race. Apparently the British forces (or maybe just Army) are trying to get a pro team together for next? season.

It'll be interesting to see how young Olivier Le Gac fares in this race.

Almost wish I was back in Brittany for today's stage. They'll be riding over roads I know very well.

  • Think it's there in the gif.

Simply a case of a dangerous sprint? Manzin (threatening with the deadly bottle throw), was nearly rammed into the railing. Think Anthony Ravard's is a manager or some such for that team.

Yeah I guess just felt a touch boxed in with a swing in the Astana rider's line.

Rabobank rider awarded the win then? Astana rider should be relegated for dangerous sprinting and the Nantes Atlantique rider for throwing the bidon.
