RS Argyle RCT as a trail fork?

Was looking at these the other day Argyle RCT 140mm
They look suspiciously like my old Pikes - 20mm axle, 1 1/8" steerer, solo air, motion control etc and would be ideal as a replacement for the light-but-noodly Revelations on my Rize
Could the Argyles be used as 140mm trail forks or would the damping be too harsh?

As you say, is the old pike. Damping is fine, very adjustable.0

Ok thanks SS
I seem to recall that the original Argyles had a lot in common with Pikes. Do you know if the 140 Argyle is the same or have RS changed the internals?
Am a bit wary of dirt jump forks after trying to use a Society Zeno & a DJ1 as a short-travel trail forks0 -
Pretty sure all the innards are the same!0

I'm not 100% certain but I believe that the compression damper has been re-tuned in the Argyle to suit bigger hits at the expense of sensitivity. A Pike damper should fit and they're cheap.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

It's literally the same fork. (though it might have a steel steerer rather than alu)0
